Here at ASHA, we explore the body, lineage, nervous system, lived experience, inherited patterns, and the unseen, we are what brings ancient remembering into modern practice.
What shaped you?
Before you became who you are today, your story was already unfolding.
You inherited a body, a nervous system, a family history, culture, and generations of lived experience. Some of these influences are understood through biology and epigenetics. Others are explored through ancestral traditions, body-based practice, and spiritual inquiry.
At ASHA, we believe understanding ourselves means looking beyond the individual. Every person carries a story shaped by the body, lineage, memory, environment, and the unseen.
The invitation here, is to remember. We don’t have to become what our ancestors once were, but rather to carry their wisdom forward in a way that serves the world we live in today.
Whether you remain on your ancestral lands or live across oceans as part of a diaspora, you are part of a living story.
And now, we are the bridge between what has been carried and what is yet to come.
We return to the wisdom of those before us, so healing becomes remembrance.
Let’s find our way back to the home and hearth of our ancestors, remembering what was carried, what was forgotten, and what still longs to live through us.

Elizabeth Brown is the founder of ASHA and creator of the Inherited Release Method, with close to two decades of study and practice across healing, energy work, embodiment and spiritual traditions.
Born in Aotearoa, New Zealand, her paternal ancestry traces through England, Scotland and Ireland. Her maternal lineage comes from the Philippines, with ancestral roots extending into China and Southern India. She now lives and works on Bindjareb Noongar Country in Mandjoogoordap, Mandurah.
Living within the histories of both the coloniser and the colonised, and as part of a wider diaspora, has shaped Elizabeth’s exploration of ancestry, belonging, displacement and healing. Her work explores what we inherit through our bodies, families and cultures, and how we can build a relationship with what came before us while living within who we are today.
Her studies and practice span transpersonal psychotherapy, ancestral healing, bodywork, energy and meridian work, channeling, mediumship, embodiment and multidimensional practice, alongside an ongoing exploration of cultural remembrance, folklore and ancestral traditions.
